Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy

It is Leisuresec policy to maintain the highest level of ethical standards in the conduct all of our business affairs.  We take a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption and are committed to acting professionally, fairly and with integrity in all our dealings wherever we operate.

We will uphold all laws relevant to countering bribery and corruption in all of the jurisdictions in which we operate. We will act in accordance with the United Kingdom Bribery Act 2010, in respect of our conduct in the UK and if applicable overseas.

The policy will cover all employees, consultants, agents, representatives and suppliers who operate within the business. If there is any instance of bribery or corruption identified appropriate action will be taken and this will be reported to the Managing Director.

 

Bribe

A bribe is a financial or other advantage offered or given:

·       To anyone to persuade them or to reward them for performing their duties improperly, or;

·       To any public official with the intention of influencing the official in the performance of his duties.

 

Gifts & Hospitality

This policy does not prohibit giving and receiving gifts of low value and normal appropriate hospitality.

In certain circumstances gifts & hospitality may amount to bribery and all employees must comply strictly with the gratuity’s guidelines included in the staff handbook.

We will not provide gifts or hospitality with the intention of persuading anyone to act improperly or to influence a public official in the performance of his duties.

 

Responsibilities

The Managing Director will be responsible for ensuring that the company establishes the appropriate responsibilities and procedures within all areas of operation. The Managing Director will be the company's Compliance Officer.
